WASH-PD08 is a highly reliable and flexible Satcom terminal suite for operations in the most challenging environments. Operating across both Ku and Ka Bands, the terminal is compatible with both traditional and high throughput Satellite. It comes with automated satellite pointing capability. Once connected, it enables stable and reliable voice, data, and video communications.
It is designed to fit defense market application such as tactical communications and reconnaissance. However its application extends well to support rescue and disaster relief efforts and others. It is ruggedised to meet military specs and tested to IP 66. The terminal can be equipped with SatCom modem of your choice to fit your system.
The device is equipped with inertial navigation, magnetic heading, GPS/BD reception, signal receivers, and intelligent search algorithms to quickly locate target satellites.
